The SpinOff is a unique Chetnanigans’ design that is configurable in either a horizontal position (for skeins, yarn balls, etc.) or in a vertical configuration for cones, cakes and selected skeins. The SpinOff allows for stitch-by-stitch pulling. That means no more hanks or pulling off to work your WIP, simply connect and crochet…You’ll love it!
Key Feature: The strongest feature of the SpinOff is it’s ability to configure to your yarn type, either in a horizontal or vertical position. It includes “eyelets” to mange your yarn, but open enough to thread your yarn on and off. We apply the SpinOff with 4 coats of polyurethane to assure a smooth finish and consistent performance.

The SpinOff is a new “spin” on an old idea. Our adjustable yarn spinner is not like the Lazy Susan or ball bearing yarn spinners that have been around forever! What is different is it’s unique design that allows you to configure the spinner in either a vertical or horizontal posture!
The horizontal position is stablized with two solid red oak supports and silicone feet for reduced slippage. In between is a polished aluminum rod, designed to hold a skein, a cake, or spools of yarn or cotton thread. It also has an eyelet option that provides a nice directional flow as your yarn “spins off” with ease. The horizontal configuration is adjustable for the use of more than one spool or cake of yarn at a time. The vertical configuration is positioned upright. Remove the spindle and eyelet bar and the two solid red oak supports “click” together via embedded powerful magnets insuring a secure hold. Once positioned, insert your aluminum spindle into your yarn skein (cake, spool or cone) and then place the rod into the center hole of the highly polished, satiny smooth poly-coated base.
Now you are ready for some speedy stitch by stitch crocheting (or knitting) without having to stop frequently to pull up a “hank.” You also have the option of using the other “fold-away” eyelet which is perfectly configured for the upright position.
